What is this site about?

This site is about spots and shops along what a path called "Philosopher's Walk ", "The path of Philosopher" or "Tetugaku-no-michi" from Nyakuoji-shrine to Ginkakuji-temple in an exact sense, but actually, visitors walk through a path from Tozai-Line subway station Keage, to Ginkakuji-temple. Of course you can start from Ginkakuji-temple and end it at St.Keage as well.
I love to take a walk on Philosopher's Walk and I know a lot around here. During my walk, foreigners often ask me the direction because the road is too straight with few signs. These experiences have made me run this site.
It is a long road and probably will take you no less than 50 minutes to walk through. During your walk, you might want to stop by at some shops, but there seem few stores especially for foreigners because they have few signs even in Japanese.
I'll also introduce Temples and Shrines along the path.
I'll answer your questions as far as I know. I hope you'll have more enjoyable walk with the information you've got here in my site!
