・snowy world Kyoto Philosopher's Walk

This morning as forecast saying it will be sonw ,It is heavy sonw in Kyoto.

Immediately I got up early and took a walk.

I eagerly visted philosoher's walk ⇒Honen-in temple ⇒Anraku-ji temple ⇒Reikan-ji temple ⇒ Eikando temple ⇒Nanzen-ji temple ⇒Heian-jingu shrine ⇒Shinnyo-do temple.

Snow on the road is melting a little in front of my home. But Snow stays on philosohper's walk.because philosopher's walk is hidden behind Mt.Higashiyama.

Please look at other photoes↓↓↓

Maple trees behind bamboo

It is interesting to see green bamboos and red Japanese maple trees all together.

I took it Nov 22th.

Japanese Maple trees are at their best and getting over now

It seems that autumn leaves are at their best and about to get brown to fall down on the street. There are still green leaves which might get beautiful scarlet in a week, but I guess the moment of their best will be gone soon.

It is pretty hard to catch their beauty of a cloudy day by my digital camera. I wish I had known when buying a digital camera that I would start this blog with photos of Kyoto and I had bought a better one...

Fallen leaves on stone paved approach

I felt a lot of atmosphere as I saw Sakura leaves fallking down stone-paved approach.

Every kind of fallen leaf makes us profoundly moved this time of the year.

Philosopher's walk is almost made up of dusty gravel road, so stone-paved approach
helps me walkwhen raining.

Whenever I see women walking in high heels, I admire their courage!
They must have no fear of getting shoes dirty.
