All about a beautiful path in Kyoto with cherry trees along canal like a stream from Lake Biwa. You can enjoy Japanese great landscape when walking on the path called "Philosopher's Walk".

Eikando temple Nov 18th
11月18日永観堂の様子

It is how the entrance of Eikando temple looks like this morning.
We had rain after noon.

I think the best season for Eikando's Japanese maple tree would be this week.
When leaves start falling, they won't look beautiful compared to last year. Several typhoons hurt leaves and defoliated quite a few.
I feel the number of leaves of each tree looks two thirds.
