All about a beautiful path in Kyoto with cherry trees along canal like a stream from Lake Biwa. You can enjoy Japanese great landscape when walking on the path called "Philosopher's Walk".

Japanese Maple trees are at their best and getting over now
11月21日紅葉1

It seems that autumn leaves are at their best and about to get brown to fall down on the street. There are still green leaves which might get beautiful scarlet in a week, but I guess the moment of their best will be gone soon.

11月21日紅葉2

It is pretty hard to catch their beauty of a cloudy day by my digital camera. I wish I had known when buying a digital camera that I would start this blog with photos of Kyoto and I had bought a better one...

Fallen leaves on stone paved approach
11月19日落ち葉

I felt a lot of atmosphere as I saw Sakura leaves fallking down stone-paved approach.

Every kind of fallen leaf makes us profoundly moved this time of the year.

Philosopher's walk is almost made up of dusty gravel road, so stone-paved approach
helps me walkwhen raining.

Whenever I see women walking in high heels, I admire their courage!
They must have no fear of getting shoes dirty.

Leaves along the path Nov 19th
11月19日全体像

I took it around 8 o'clock this morning. Leaves looked fresher than usual thanks to last night rain.

Some are still blue green and others are yellow and red. They are like a brocaded cloth.

I guess the nubmer of green leaves is larger than that of yellow and red ones today as a whole along the path.

Along the path Nov 18th
11月18日哲学の道沿い
This is how my favorite path, the philosopher's walk looks like.
Red and yellow leaves of Sakura are almost over.
I miss them a lot.

We see few Japanese maple trees around this point.
